Where should I park when picking up or dropping off passengers?

We offer a range of parking options for pick up and drop off, including our Express car park, which is priced at £4.00 for 10 minutes.

We offer a free 15 minute period in our Short Stay 2 car park.

Do you offer a free period for pick up and drop off?

Yes, we offer a free 15 minute period in our Short Stay 2 car park.

Do I need to prebook my parking?

For parking for up to 4 hours, you do not need to prebook; you can pay on the day.

If you are parking for 24 hours or more, we advise prebooking your parking online for the cheapest rate. To prebook your parking, please click here. Customers who do not prebook will need to pay the gate rate on return.

How are prebook parking charges calculated on this website?

Car parks are priced per calendar day or part thereof. Prices are subject to change, and quotes are only valid at the time of booking. The number of days charged is calculated on the basis of the dates and times you select at time of booking.

For example, if you are travelling on a Monday and returning the following Monday, you will be charged for eight days.

Car parking charges may also vary based on time of year and how far you book in advance.

I’m returning later than expected, what should I do?

Please inform our team at [email protected], and we will be able to provide a price and amend the booking for you.

Overstay parking is charged at £12.00 per calendar day.

If your return time has changed, however your return date remains the same, you do not need to contact us. Same day return times are flexible.

My vehicle details have changed, what should I do?

Please inform our team of your new vehicle details along with your booking reference. You can contact us at [email protected]

How do I amend my booking?

To amend your booking online, please click here. Alternatively, please email our team at [email protected]

Please note: Times are completely flexible; you do not need to amend entry or exit times as long as you are arriving and returning on the dates you have booked.

I need to cancel my booking, can I get a refund?

Yes, we offer free cancellations and amends on all of our products. You can cancel online by following the link below. Alternatively, please contact our team by emailing [email protected]

Please note: We hold a £5.00 cancellation fee for any bookings that are cancelled within two calendar days of your original arrival date.

We are only able to offer a refund if we have received a cancellation notice before your booked arrival date. To amend or cancel your booking, please click here.

I’ve cancelled my booking, when do I receive my refund?

Refunds usually take three to five working days to arrive in your account.

Why is my payment card failing to process?

Please ensure postcode details provided match with the registered cardholder postcode, failure to do so may result in the transaction being declined.

A declined transaction may remain listed on the account for up to 5 days before clearing. Note, banks such as Monzo can take up to 14 days to clear.

If you are booking via the app, please ensure you download the latest version.

I have a pending transaction in my account but no booking, what should I do?

Please contact our team at [email protected] who will be able to check the transaction and booking for you. In most cases, this means the booking and payment have failed to process. A declined transaction may remain listed on the account for up to 5 days before clearing. Note, banks such as Monzo can take up to 14 days to clear.

Which type of card payments are accepted online?

We accept all major debit or credit cards, including American Express.

Are there any height restrictions in your car parks?

Many of our car parks do not have height restrictions; however, there are restrictions to the following car parks:

  • Express – 2.0 metres
  • Mini Bus/Van – 2.9 metres
  • Premium Meet & Greet – 2.7 metres

Please note: We are unable to accept vehicles with eight seats and above at our Premium Meet & Greet facility. Parking for this type of vehicle is available in our Long Stay, Short Stay 1, and Short Stay 2 car parks.

I have a blue disabled parking permit, where should I park?

All of our car parks have disabled bays. Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve a space for blue badge holders. Standard parking charges apply. For our pick up and drop off charges, please click here.

If you need your Blue Badge for your travels, please display a photocopy of your badge on your windscreen. Our disabled parking area is checked regularly, and your vehicle may be issued a parking charge notice if you are unable to verify disabled parking entitlement.

How safe are the car parks at Newcastle Airport?

Newcastle Airport car parks have been awarded the Park Mark® Accreditation. All of our car parks have CCTV, fencing, security patrols, and number plate recognition upon entry and exit.

When choosing your car park, we always advise using official airport car parks. Alternatively, we advise using our affiliate Offsite car parks, which include Park & Fly, Bellair and Callerton.

Please ensure you research any Offsite companies before handing over your keys.

Do you provide motorcycle parking?

For Motorcycle Parking we advise customers to use the Long Stay car park when parking for periods of 24 hours and above. For parking periods below 24 hours, we advise the Short Stay 2 Car Park, which also provides a free 15 minute parking period.
