Newcastle Airport and Kynren – The Storied Lands have joined forces to give one family the chance to enjoy an unforgettable day out at a spectacular live-action attraction.
The competition celebrates the extension of Norwegian's twice-weekly direct flights between Newcastle and Copenhagen throughout the winter season, strengthening the long-standing connection between North East England and Denmark.
Located in Bishop Auckland, Kynren – The Storied Lands opens from 18 July to 12 September and offers visitors an unforgettable day out featuring five spectacular live-action shows.

Visitors can witness Viking battles and fire rages in Land of the Vikings, soaring birds in The Lost Feather, medieval knights in The Trusty Steed, a dramatic lakeside adventure in Legend of the Wear, and meet remarkable Victorian characters in Victorian Imaginarium.
The launch of the competition was marked by a special Viking welcome at the Airport, where passengers arriving from Copenhagen were greeted by warriors from Kynren.
It highlighted the historic links between North East England and Scandinavia, dating back over 1,000 years to the age of the Vikings.
Today, those stories are brought to life at Kynren, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the region's rich heritage.
