Newcastle International Airport’s cargo business has grown considerably over recent years. Our operators handle between 400 and 450 tonnes of cargo every month to and from destinations worldwide.

Our mission is to be the leading hub for general, pharmaceutical, and time-sensitive cargo in the region, driving economic growth in the North East with a dynamic route portfolio. We aim to expand our cargo capacity, diversify our cargo route portfolio, increase volumes for airline partners and deliver exceptional services to stakeholders. By fostering strong local collaborations, we seek to elevate standards for importers and exporters.
