Crystal Ski Holidays is making it easier than ever for customers in the North East to hit the slopes next winter, with the launch of two new direct TUI Airways routes from Newcastle Airport to Chambéry and Toulouse-Blagnac.
The new services will open up even more choice for customers looking to book a winter getaway, with direct access to some of the most popular ski destinations in both the French Alps as well as Andorra and the Spanish Pyrenees.
The Newcastle to Toulouse service will operate weekly from 19 December 2027 until 5 March 2028, while Newcastle to Chambéry will operate weekly from 21 December 2027 until 1 April 2028.
The new Chambéry route provides convenient access to some of France's most iconic ski resorts, including Méribel, Courchevel, Val d'Isère, Tignes and Les Menuires. Known as the gateway to the French Alps, Chambéry is perfectly placed for customers looking to experience world class skiing, charming alpine villages and extensive ski areas suitable for all abilities.
Meanwhile, the new Toulouse service opens the door to Andorra, a country known for its stunning mountain scenery, authentic resort atmosphere and excellent value, as well as Baqueira-Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees.
Together, the two new routes provide North East customers with even greater flexibility when choosing their perfect ski holiday, whether they're looking for the vast ski areas of the Alps or the Pyrenees.
Head of Crystal Ski Holidays, Scott Britton said: "Value and convenience are front of mind for customers when booking their ski holiday, which is why we're excited to introduce these new routes from Newcastle to Chambéry and Toulouse. Flying from a local airport makes getting away easier, while a Crystal Ski Holidays package brings everything together in one place – flights, accommodation, transfers and expert support. With all the essentials included in a single booking, customers can enjoy great value, ease of travelling from their local airport and more time looking forward to their trip."
