Samson Executive Jet Centre, Newcastle Airport’s exclusive private jet facility, has made history by becoming the first international winner of a top industry award.
The executive jet centre was crowned ‘Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Member of the Year' at the 2025 Paragon Awards in New Orleans, USA.
This marks the first time an FBO outside of America has won this prestigious accolade, which recognises Samson for its operational excellence, world-class customer service and commitment to the highest safety standards.

The facility also plays a key role in supporting the Airport's 2035 Net Zero ambitions, having invested in a fleet of electric vehicles and ground handling equipment.
The annual Paragon Awards, hosted by Paragon Aviation Group, took place during the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers 2025 Conference in New Orleans – an event which brings together professionals from across the world who schedule and manage private flights, offering networking opportunities and workshops on best industry practices.
The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations within the Paragon Network and the winners were chosen following positive customer feedback and votes from fellow FBO members and flight departments.
