Boots gives Newcastle Airport store a health and beauty makeover

Boots has unveiled the makeover of its Newcastle Airport store with upgrades to its health and beauty offering.

The popular 3531 sq ft store has undergone a complete transformation to create the very best shopping experience for passengers – opening just in time for the busy Easter holidays.

Based in the award-winning Airport’s departure lounge, the refreshed store now offers a refreshed range of beauty, skincare and haircare brands, including Bubble and Byoma, alongside favourites including No7.

Passengers can browse an extensive selection of travel essentials designed to make journeys more comfortable and convenient, from travel pillows and sleep masks to headphones and chargers.

Boots continues to offer its popular Meal Deal, with a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, snacks and drinks.

Passengers can also take advantage of the Boots Click and Collect service by ordering online to pick up items in-store ahead of their flight, including bulkier items like nappies and baby milk.

To celebrate the store’s reopening, Boots team members were joined by staff from the Airport for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Richard Knight, Chief Operating Officer at Newcastle Airport, said: “We are delighted Boots has reopened following its major refurbishment.

“The store has always been a firm favourite with our passengers and its new design, modern layout and extended product range promises to offer a more convenient and high-quality shopping experience.”

Mohamed Hassam, Boots Travel Stores Director, said: “I’m delighted with our new and refurbished store in Newcastle Airport. Boots has proudly been here since 2004 serving passengers for all of their essential healthcare and holiday needs.

“My thanks to the Newcastle Airport team and our own teams for their support throughout the refurbishment process, and we look forward to serving even more passengers travelling through the Airport as we head into the busy summer peak.”
