Airside Operations
Our Airside teams are integral to the Airport operation. Managing all aircraft movements, our team of Air Traffic Controllers, Air Traffic Engineers and Airside Operations Controllers ensure the safe landing and take-off of aircraft.
Roles available: Air Traffic Safety Manager, Air Traffic Controllers, Air Traffic Control Watch Manager, Air Traffic Engineer, Airside Operations Controller
Fire Station and Academy
Firefighters need to possess a high level of physical fitness combined with a suitable standard of academic ability. You will be expected to possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team, as well as work under pressure.
Roles available: Firefighter, Crew Manager, Watch Manager, Training Academy Instructor
Terminal Operations
Our Terminal Operations department includes the Cleaning, Special Assistance and Airport Duty Manager teams. This department plays a crucial role in the safe and smooth running of the terminal building and ensures passengers have exceptional journeys through the Airport.
Roles available: Passenger Services Operative, Operations Manager, Airport Duty Manager, Training and Compliance Lead, Cleaning Operative
Car Parking
The car park department plays a vital role in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient access for passengers, staff and visitors. Their responsibilities include overseeing daily operations across multiple parking zones, managing capacity and providing excellent customer service.
Roles available: Car Park Operative, Car Park Operations, Front of House, Sales Coordinator
Security
Security Officers are an integral part of our Airport. They ensure that the Airport and aerodrome is safe and secure in line with the requirements specified by the Department for Transport and Civil Aviation Authority. Working as an Aviation Security Officer offers career progression, with successful candidates moving into Team Leader or Trainer positions.
Roles available: Security Officer, Security Team Leader, Security Manager, Security Trainer
Corporate Services
There are many different roles within the Corporate Services department that help to support the running of the Airport. From finance professionals to aviation development, project managers to I.T experts there are opportunities available at every level of employment.
Roles available: Marketing Manager, Quantity Surveyor, I.T Specialist, Finance Administrator, Health & Safety Advisor, HR Manager, Payroll Assistant, Aviation Development Manager, Sustainability Advisor
Engineering
Essential for keeping the Airport running smoothly, the Engineering department is responsible for all the maintenance on site. From keeping the terminal warm in the winter, to ensuring the grass is cut in the summer.
Roles available: Supervising Engineer, Engineering Technician (Levels 1 & 2), Paving and Grounds Technician (Level 1 & 2)
Motor Transport
Keeping Airport and business partner vehicles on the road, the Motor Transport department plays a key role in keeping the Airport moving by providing servicing, repair and maintenance to a wide range of vehicles.
Roles available: Workshop Controller, Parts Advisor, Technician, HGV Technician, Administrator
