Airport Company
About Your Airport:
Newcastle International Airport has been the North East's largest Airport for over 80 years. Home to 16 airline partners, we connect the region's leisure and business passengers to over 80 destinations.
The 11th busiest Airport in the UK, passenger numbers have grown by 102% in the last 20 years. In 2019 alone, we welcomed 5.25 million people to our Airport.
We are proud to have achieved growth and commercial success through the adoption of ethical business and employment practices.
We are committed to de-carbonising our Airport, with a net zero target by 2035. Our journey to net-zero may be challenging, but it is something we are excited about. We aim to plant over 8,000 trees, have on-site renewable energy, switch to an electric fleet and much more. To find out more, click here.
