Travelling with Children

Newcastle International Airport is a family friendly airport. Whether your little ones want to go and buy their favourite comic or get some treats from World Duty Free, there are many ways to keep your children entertained. Not forgetting the great view of the airfield from the departure lounge - the perfect spot to watch planes navigate the skies, and keep both children and parents fascinated.

Baby Milk and Nappies

The Boots store in our departure lounge stocks a full range of baby milk and baby products. However, if you wish you can pre-order your milk and collect from store.

Simply visit Boots.com, select your milk and choose to collect in store - selecting the Newcastle International Airport, Woolsington store. To ensure you’re order arrives on time please order online at least within 5 working days of your flight.

Passengers are reminded that all liquids in their hand luggage must be under 100ml, however they are permitted to pass through security with as much milk or formula as needed for the journey.

Baby Change

There are four baby-change stations situated throughout the airport – two before security and two once you've been cleared. They are all clearly signed and located alongside the toilets. There is also a Boots in the departure lounge, just in case you forgot to bring some spare nappies!

World Duty Free

World Duty Free stocks an impressive range of sweets, travel games and toys for children, providing the opportunity to keep children entertained both on the ground and at 35,000ft! New offers are available instore all the time, so make sure to check them out.

Food

Most of our food outlets cater for children's tastes with a range of baby food and children's meals. The Quaystone and our Bar 11 restaurant both have a range of fun food options for kids.

WHSmith

Stationery and creative material can be bought here to make sure the children are kept entertained while you wait for the flight, or on the journey itself. A Crayola selection is available alongside children’s books, magazines and colouring books.
