Competition Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions and the associated privacy notice before participants apply to enter the prize draw. By submitting an entry to the prize draw participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. The prize draw promoter is Newcastle Airport Limited, Woolsington, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE13 8BZ.
  2. The winning entrant will win a five-night holiday to Mauritius.

  3. Two prizes for up to two adults on an all-inclusive basis at the 5* Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa, Mauritius

  4. The prize includes:

    1. 5 nights stay for up to two adults at the 5* Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa, Mauritius, including return flights on Emirates Economy Class from Newcastle International Airport with luggage allowance and return airport transfers in Mauritius.

    2. All-inclusive board basis.

  5. The prize must be taken as one package.
  6. Prize is subject to availability, prize is valid for 12 months after voucher is issued and valid for travel from January 2023 until December 2023.

  7. Travel is only permitted on Emirates marketed and operated flights – codeshare flights not permitted.

  8. All elements of the prize are subject to availability; prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives and no cash value. 

  9. Prizes may not be taken during any major holidays: Easter, U.K. School Half Term, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Blackout dates will apply.

  10. Important Note: All blackout dates are inclusive, hotel blackout and promotion periods do apply.

  11. All blackout dates are subject to change without prior notice, we recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.

  12. Amendments will not be permitted once the booking is completed.

  13. Applicable taxes will be paid by Newcastle International Airport.

  14. Tickets are for Economy class travel only with Emirates and it is not possible to ‘upgrade’ the ticket to a higher class of travel by paying a supplement or by using Skywards miles.

  15. Skywards miles cannot be accrued when travelling on a prize-winner ticket.

  16. If the original voucher is lost, stolen or destroyed the prize cannot be claimed.

  17. The voucher becomes null and void if it is altered.

  18. The prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and airport, travel insurance, food and drink outside of the booked meal plan, personal expenditure or incidental costs. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they and their guest each has a valid passport, travel insurance and obtain any necessary visas and vaccinations for their trip.

  20. Employees of Newcastle International Airport Limited and subsidiary companies are not eligible to enter the competition.
  21. Winners will be contact by email from a member of Newcastle International Airport's Marketing and Communications team on Monday 19 December 2022.

  23. Booking requests must be submitted prior to the expiry date on the certificate.
