2. Website Newsletter - NIAL collects personal information (email address and post code only) when you subscribe to our newsletter. Your details may then be used by NIAL and other Newcastle International Airport group companies to provide you with information about the airport and related goods and services, and also for statistical purposes. You can choose to opt out of our newsletters at any time by clicking on the opt-out in our newsletters or by emailing your request to [email protected]
3. NIAL Product Bookings - Personal information is also collected to facilitate Car Park bookings, Security Fast Track bookings and Airport Lounge bookings. That information is used as follows:
a) To provide the necessary information to ensure provision of a good customer experience when using these products. For Airport Lounge bookings only, your booking data will be sent electronically to our partner responsible for operating the Airport Lounge (Name, number in party, time and date of arrival at lounge, flight number, value of booking).
b) For statistical purposes, for example, assessing quantity of bookings per post code area, or quantity of bookings per airline / destination.
c) Your email address or mobile number may be used to send you product upgrade offers, although you can opt out of this option during the booking process, or by using the unsubscribe option provided in the email offer.
How we use your personal information
1. We may use your personal information to:
a) Send statements, invoices and payment reminders to you, and collect payments from you
b) Send you non-marketing commercial communications send you email notifications that you have specifically requested
c) Send you marketing communications relating to our business which we think may be of interest to you, by post or, where you have specifically agreed to this, by email or similar technology (you can inform us at any time if you no longer require marketing communications)
d) To support your rights under Data Protection law in relation to our use of your personal information (see section 9 below)
f) Administer our website and business including:

Customer Wi-Fi Services
An email address must be provided to use the service as the email is used to authenticate the user. Email as means of authentication is simply used to avoid rouge / unnecessary connections and to optimise the solution to provide the best possible customer experience. The Wi-Fi login page also has the marketing opt in / opt out options. If marketing is selected as opt out all details are discarded and marketing will not be received.
