Before you Arrive
With a little preparation, there’s a lot you can do to make sure your journey to and through the Airport is as hassle-free as possible. Here are a few things to consider...
We'd recommend passengers check in online where possible. Most airlines allow you to check in, choose your seats and print your boarding passes before you fly. To find out more, please contact your airline, tour operator or travel agent.
Passengers who have checked in online, do not have hold luggage and received their boarding passes can head straight to security.

If you need assistance for your journey, you must register your requirements with your airline. This must be done at least 36 hours before your flight, if not at the time of booking. Most airlines offer this facility online. This will ensure we are expecting you on the day.
You can also contact your tour operate or travel agent who will be able to assist you further.
Passenger flying from Newcastle International Airport can purchase Fast Track Security at £6.00 per person.

Pass holders must ensure they have their Fast Track tickets before reaching the security search area, make their way to the left-hand walk way and present their booking confirmations and boarding passes to the Security Officer before accessing the Fast Track lane.
Whatever the reason for your journey, the best place to start is with a visit to the Aspire Airport Lounge at Newcastle International Airport.
