Our Air Traffic Control team manage all Aircraft movement which involves clearing Aircraft for land or take off whether that is one of the daily Emirates 777 or one of the many private one-seater planes that use our facilities.
The team at Samson Executive Jet Centre offers first-class service. They are responsible for overseeing the smooth turnaround of aircraft and ensuring that VIPs and business executives are processed efficiently.
Our Airside Operations team works around the clock to ensure the safe running of your Airport. They monitor our ground handling business partners and the taxiing of Aircraft. They also manage the runway, ensuring it is clear of debris whilst sensitively managing wildlife on the estate and work closely with our Firefighters.
Security Officers are an integral part of our Airport. They ensure that the aerodrome is safe and secure in line with the requirements specified by the Department for Transport and Civil Aviation Authority.
Our Cleaning Services team work 24/7 to ensure that your Airport is clean and tidy for the 5.3 million passengers that travelled through the Airport in 2017.
Our commercial team develops and manages our relationships with our business partners on-site, including World Duty-Free, retail concessions, hospitality outlets, car parking and the Aspire Lounge.
Our Aviation Development team works closely with our Airline and Travel partners to develop the Newcastle International Airport brand and ensure that we attract and secure the top destination routes from your Airport.

You must be able to satisfy requirements to obtain a full security clearance, which includes five years’ satisfactory references criminal records and counter-terrorism checks, depending on the role. You are also required to undertake medical screening, which may include a drug test prior to starting your new role.
