Testing times in the sunshine

Delegates from around the country enjoyed the training and the weather at Newcastle International Airport this week.

The highest temperatures of the year ensured Helideck Emergency Response Team Members had a tough week, firefighting training in breathing apparatus in 30 degrees plus heat is always a challenge.

Delegate Chris Stewart said "It was a throughly enjoyable week, despite the sunshine and high temperatures, I would recommend the training centre to anyone looking to do emergency response training."

Other courses this week had a less physically demanding time, First Aid and Fire Safety delegates enjoyed the weather as well and the air-conditioned classrooms.
