This vital team delivers an outstanding customer experience whilst maintaining the safety and integrity of your airport. This includes searching and screening passengers, staff and business partners as well as operating x-ray equipment and patrolling the airport.
Our passenger services team delivers an outstanding service to our passengers with restricted mobility that require our support during their journey through your airport. They also drive the coaches that take you to your Aircraft and provide our bag wrap service.
Our Fire Service is on hand 24/7 in the unlikely event of a major incident at your airport, In addition to emergency support our Fire Crews also support Airside Operations and our Training Academy deliver world class training to businesses and individuals across the globe.
Air Traffic Control
Our Air Traffic Control team manage all Aircraft movement which involves clearing Aircraft for land or take off whether that is one of the daily Emirates 777 Or one of the many private one seater planes that use our facilities.
Our Airside Operations team work around the clock to ensure the safe running of your airport. This includes the monitoring of our ground handling business partners and the taxiing of Aircraft. They also manage the runway, ensuring it is clear of debris whilst also sensitively managing wildlife on the estate.
Our Cleaning Services team work 24/7 to ensure that your airport is clean and tidy for the 5.3 million passengers that travelled through your airport in 2017.
Our commercial team develop and manage relationships with our business partners on site which includes World Duty Free and our retail concessions.
Our Aviation Development team work tirelessly with Airlines and Travel partners to develop the Newcastle International brand and ensure that we attract and secure the top destination routes to your Airport.
We have a number of support functions at your Airport which collectively work together to ensure the smooth running of the operation. These include:

You must be able to satisfy requirements to obtain full security clearance, which includes five years’ satisfactory references criminal records and counter terrorism checks, depending on the role. You are also required to undertake medical screening, which may include drug testing prior to starting your new role.
