Car Park Operatives
Please read the following information carefully prior to completing your application, as this may affect your decision to apply.
1. Do you have any criminal convictions?
Prior to commencing employment, you will be required to complete a criminal record check with a government approved agency. If you have any previous convictions you will not be eligible.
2. Does early start times or shift work create you a problem?
As a Car Park Operative you will cover a 24-hour operation, therefore you will be required to work shifts. This will involve some very early starts and some night shift working.
3. Do you hold a full driving licence and do you possess your own transport?
Due to public transport to the airport not running 24 hours per day, you must be able to get to and from the airport, outside of normal public transport hours and drive airport vehicles.
4. Have you booked any holidays?
If successful in completing your training, you will initially be contracted from March until the end of October. This is in order to provide additional cover for the busier holiday period and we therefore ask that you refrain from taking leave. However you will receive an additional payment in lieu of your accrued annual leave.
5. Can you provide detailed references covering the last 5 years?
Prior to commencing training, you must be able to provide us with your history of employment and training/education, covering the previous five years (or since your 16th birthday where this is a shorter period). Any gaps must also be accounted for by personal testimony, with all references being sought prior to you commencing training.
