Travellers in the North East have even more opportunity to travel to the beautiful city of Copenhagen after the announcement that the Danish airline Cimber Air will operate an extra three flights a week to this destination from today onwards, bringing the total number of weekly scheduled services to 10.
Chris Sanders, head of airline relations and development, said: “We are very pleased that Cimber Air has chosen to increase the frequency of flights from our region to Copenhagen. This is a particularly beneficial route for passengers as it strengthens Newcastle’s links into the extensive SAS network, providing customers with a greater choice of flights from Copenhagen to destinations across Europe and beyond.”
This vibrant Scandinavian city invites visitors to shop till they drop on Strøget Street, soak up the vivid regal history, eat in one of the 10 Michelin star restaurants or simply grab a smørrebrød! Even if you are on a business trip, the charm of this city will not escape you. Copenhagen also provides business travellers with the perfect base to connect to a wide range of world-wide destinations.
