Accountabilities:

• To process and re-direct both incoming and outgoing telephone calls in an efficient timely manner  
• To monitor the serviceability of switchboard equipment, the interactive voice response system, call recorder, pager systems, flight information display screens and public address systems.
• To maintain and update flight information systems, records and directories ensuring that all are accurate and up to date.
• Ensure that the Company’s Information Systems are current and up to date.  This includes the availability of flight schedules and associated equipment. 
• To provide a reception service from the Information Desk for all visitors of the Airport Company and its third party tenants and concessionaires
• Continue to develop the Information Desk and Tourist Information Centre (TIC) functions, ensuring that TIC accreditation is achieved year on year.
• To maximise all income generating activities carried out at the Information Desk.
• To broadcast announcements and messages via the PA system, as required.
• To interview passengers for the purposes of compiling airport customer surveys, and promoting good customer service to passengers as required.
• In line with operational requirements, from time to time you will be required to carry out designated Security Officer duties as identified by the Duty Manager.

• Provide a high level of customer service and assistance to the customer.
• Maintain housekeeping of car parks, facilities, vehicles & equipment.
• Operate and support the courtesy coaches operating between the off site car park and airport terminal.
• Operate and support the courtesy buses operating between the LTCP and airport terminal (if PCV licensed).
• Ensure courtesy vehicles are kept clean and tidy, that faults are recorded / reported / repaired in accordance with operational procedures.
• Transfer customer vehicles within car parks as required, safely, and without incurring vehicle damage.
• Patrol & maintain security of all car parks and carry out safety inspections.

The successful applicants will be working within a team and as such, must be able to work on their own initiative.

Contracted hours will be no less than 30 hours per week, however this minimum will be exceeded as necessary, to provide the relevant cover to operational requirements.  Shift working system operated and candidates require a clean driving licence and your own transport.

Duties include, on loading and offloading of baggage to and from aircraft and the driving of ramp vehicles.

Necessary to provide a 5-year work history and a clean Criminal Records Check.

We are looking for retail staff to work flexible hours. Early morning opening and late closing times mean we need people who have their own transport.

Previous 'fashion' retail experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be given.
